K K Devaraj was awarded The ‘Bharat Jyoti Award’ alongwith Certificate of Excellence by India International Friendship Society at New Delhi.

The prestigious ‘Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice’ was bestowed to K K Devaraj by Harmony Foundation at Mumbai.

October 2007
K K Devaraj was invited alongwith five other leaders from around the world to meet the UN Secretary General at the Global Leaders Forum organized by Micah Challenge, US at Washington DC to participate in the discussion on achieving the millennium development goals at this crucial mid-point in the Millennium Campaign.

K K Devaraj was invited by US Congressman Todd Akin to testify before a Congressional Briefing on ‘Children’s Rights’.

K K Devaraj was invited by Shared Hope International alongwith two rescued victims of trafficking to participate in the second annual ‘Sharing The Hope’ event in Washington, DC which was hosted by Mrs Linda Smith, a Congresswoman (1994-1999) and the Founding President of Shared Hope International and the War Against Trafficking Alliance.

July 2004
K K Devaraj was invited by Sir Joseph R Pitts (Member of US Congress) to address the 16th Congressional District Human Rights Conference on International and Domestic Trafficking in Persons.

January 2004
BTC partnered with the US Consulate in Mumbai and ‘War Against Trafficking Alliance’ in organizing the “Next Steps to Path Breaking Strategies Conference to Combat Sex Trafficking” in Mumbai.

February 2003
K K Devaraj was invited alongwith two of our rescued victims of trafficking to participate in the international conference, “Path Breaking Strategies in the Global Fight Against Sex Trafficking” in Washington D.C., USA. The conference was hosted by the U.S. Department of State in conjunction with the non-governmental organization ‘War Against Trafficking Alliance’.
